New Year’s Sample Programme

30th December

Welcome to Luccombe Hall Hotel. This is the start of your wonderful New Year break with us. Settle in and relax with a drink in the Bishop’s Bar, in front of the open log fire. For guests arriving early we will be providing an afternoon tea on arrival between noon and 4pm.

6pm join us in the Bishops Bar for a glass of bubbly.

6.30 – 8.30pm a three course dinner is served in the Grand View Restaurant.

8.30 -10.30pm Entertainment in Bishops Bar with guitar and vocalist, Jules Nelson.

New Years Eve

8 – 10am Start your day with a Full English or continental breakfast served in the Grand View Restaurant.

Wrap up warm and explore the nearby scenic Rylestone Gardens and Old Village.
Maybe take a bracing walk along the cliff path or own to the beach.
If you’re feeling active make the most of our leisure facilities with a game of squash, swim or workout followed by a jacuzzi or sauna.

7.30pm Sit-down for our 8 course Gala Dinner served in the Grand View Restaurant.

9.30pm The entertainment begins through in the Bishops Bar. Top Tamla Motown artist, Dave Priddle will take you through to the midnight countdown with his varied repertoire.

New Years Day

9-10.30am (A later time for breakfast in case you are feeling a little delicate!) Start your day with a Full English or continental breakfast served in the Grand View Restaurant.

After breakfast meet in Bishops Bar for details of our Grand Treasure Hunt, taking you on a scenic walk around the local area.
First prize is a £300 holiday voucher which can be used towards a stay at any of our Garden Isle Hotels or self-catering apartments. An informal buffet is available in the Grand View Restaurant from 1pm to 3pm so there is plenty of time to call back into the hotel for a bite to eat.

3pm A falconry display and informative talk about these fascinating birds of prey including a chance to meet the birds and take photographs.

5pm Enjoy a glass of our homemade mulled wine and a tasty mince pie in The Bishops Bar.

6.30 – 8.30pm a three-course dinner is served in the Grand View Restaurant.

8.30 – 10.30pm Entertainment in the Bishops Bar with Ollie Ducie from the band Lucid, including the announcement of the winner of the treasure hunt and holiday voucher.

2nd January

8 – 10am Start your day with a Full English or continental breakfast served in the Grand View Restaurant.
