Our Summer on the Clifftop stay at Luccombe Hall is about enjoying the height of the season without the rush – a relaxed, confidence-giving break where sea views, good food and space to unwind come naturally. Arrive to a Pina Colada or Tequila Sunrise, step into the gardens overlooking the bay, and let summer unfold at its own pace.
Mornings begin with sunlight across the water, breakfasts linger a little longer, and afternoons invite you to slow down – perhaps by the pool, in the hot tub, or simply watching the world go by from your balcony. As evening arrives, dinner is waiting, and the day gently fades with the sound of the waves below.

Unlimited leisure is included as part of your stay, with access across Luccombe Hotels – from our indoor Tropical Pool Experience with hot tub and sauna, to outdoor pools and hot tubs available from early May, making the most of warmer days and longer evenings. With four acres of clifftop gardens always open to enjoy, plus gentle fun like garden games, free cycle hire and our lending shed, everything is in place for relaxed summer days by the sea.

From April to October, guests enjoy free, unlimited access to Shanklin Chine – one of the island’s most historic and prettiest walks, leading gently down to the beach through waterfalls, greenery and coastal views.
A lighter way to travel
We believe indulgence and responsibility can go hand in hand. Guests enjoy free on-site EV charging, complimentary cycle hire, and thoughtful touches throughout the hotel that help reduce our footprint – so while you’re relaxing on the clifftop, you can also feel good about travelling a little more lightly.
